The shape of the networks tends to a centralized, wheel, or star-like network based on the high degree centralization scores (all tie frequencies).
Network centralization [ 47] reflects how much variation is there in the centrality scores (in our case, betweenness centrality) among the nodes.
In contrast to betweenness centralization, the polarization score remains high if two distinct components are completely separated, and the measure captures only ideological polarization, not any other polarization tendencies such as endogenous coalition formation.
