To solve such a problem, this paper presents a new model for finding influential agent groups based on group centrality analyses in citation networks.
PPI networks with number of nodes ranging from 140 to 411 and up to 15,855 connections were generated, and modularity and centrality analyses, and functional enrichment were performed for all of them.

Consequently, studies on diseases based on PPI networks had the starting point by analysing the centrality of disease proteins.
We further illustrate the usefulness of reachability profiles by analysing the centrality of genes based on their contribution toward the reachability profile (Gabr and Kahveci, 2013).
Analysing several centrality measures in parallel is important and there is a need for this, however, it would be even nicer to compare them (see http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0304380007001184 ) and discuss better their biological relevance (i.e. what is Eigenvector centrality good for?).
Social network data were analysed using the 'Statnet' suite of packages in R (Handcock et al. 2008) using existing SNA algorithms, including network size, density, centralization, degree centrality and betweenness centrality.
We also explored the global association patterns of composers via centrality, assortative mixing, community structure analyses, which suggest an intriguing interplay between the networks of musicians and our musicological understanding of the western musical tradition in which both are undoubtedly continuously influencing each other.
If the President, and many liberal politicians including Gov. Deval Patrick, have their way, the exceptions will continue to assume the centrality of social and political analyses and the outsiders will continue to be silenced -- not in obvious ways but in a more insidious fashion which can be seen most glaringly in the absence of policy.
Analyses of node centrality (see Supporting Information S7, Figures S5, S6, S7, S8, S9 for details) revealed that about 10 15% of the nodes are highly ranked (or act as central nodes) - they manifest significantly higher centralities than those of the other nodes.
We repeated these analyses comparing both centrality indexes to divergence, measured as the ratio between nonsynonymous and synonymous changes (dN/dS) between humans and chimpanzees for each gene.
For the analyses of standard centrality measures (unweighted networks), I concentrated on gene co-expression values sufficiently high to reduce the possibility of including spurious associations and to focus on the most likely relevant co-expression patterns.
