Each learning block featured two tasks, with each trial starting with a central color cue presented for 1200 ms, indicating which of the two tasks will be performed in the current trial (Fig. 1c).
The couple chose white and gold as their central color theme.

Note that all the components except central color and shape can be set to null.

Therefore, several color descriptors have been proposed to exploit special information, including compact color central moments and color coherence vector etc. reported in the literature [6, 7].
The RAM was shown to account for several phenomena central to color vision, such as the continuous yet categorical nature of color, mutually exclusive colors and colors that can be perceived together, color mixing, the Bezold-Brücke hue shift, the additivity failure of brightness, opponent-color cells, geometrical color space, and hue, saturation, and brightness.

To illustrate the networks' capabilities, they were shown to generate neural correlates of several psychophysical phenomena central to color vision and olfaction.
On each of these fruit, two external (on opposing shoulders) and two internal (adjacent to central cavity) color measurements (Model CR-300 Chroma Meter, Minolta Camera Co., Ltd., Ramsey, NJ) were taken using the L*a*b* color space expressed as lightness (L*), chroma (C*, [(a* 2+(b*)2]1/2) and hue angle (hab, tan−1[b*/a*]) [55].
