CCPP-6 has been identified [ 37] as a deglutamylase that, in conjunction with tubulin tyrosine ligase-like (TTLL) glutamylases, mediate the respective deglutamylation and glutamylation of tubulin thereby regulating the microtubular network present in the C. elegans neuronal sensory cilia.
