While 100 150 cc of non-ionic iodinated intravenous contrast material (1.5-2 cc/s) is desirable to increase the intrinsic contrast of the images, it may not be necessary to diagnose the extent of an omental cake, unless knowledge of the extent is important to surgical planning.
To estimate the potential CC reduction associated with vaccinating a 11-year-old boys cohort, it was assumed that the resulting maximum reduction in CC cases would correspond to the maximum expected reduction in CC cases of non-vaccinated 11-year-old girls as if they were all vaccinated.
We also assumed that the maximum reduction in CC cases subsequent to the extension of HPV vaccination to 11-year-old boys would correspond to the maximum expected reduction in CC cases of non-vaccinated 11-year-old girls as if they were all vaccinated.
However, the use of higher order moments was helpful since AJM performs better than CC for non-linear intensity distortion.
The procedure was performed at baseline and after the administration of 150 180 cc of tri-iodinated non-ionic contrast agent, IomeronÒ Bracco, Milan, Italy (350 mgI ml−1) at a flow rate of 3 4 ml s−1 into an anticubital vein by means of an 18-gauge needle using an automated power injection.
However, we chose this size (0.045 cc) as it is in agreement and even smaller than the mean size of non palpable cancers, around 0.1 cc [ 2].
