Repeated measures analysis of variance (rANOVA) was used to determine whether the PedsQL tool was able to discriminate between patients pre and post injury, while examining for interactions with categories of length of stay in hospital.
All analyses were stratified by age at recruitment (in 1-year categories) to control for length of follow-up, and by gender and center to control for country effects such as follow-up procedures, and questionnaire design.
