Categorizing causes of entrepreneurial failure is tricky.
Since high temperature is the norm in Thailand, diagnosis of illness or categorizing causes of death often overlooks heat as a contributing factor.
We obtained daily mortality data from the Ministry of Public Health, which currently uses the International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision (ICD-10) to categorize cause of death (WHO 1992).
We categorized these causes into all-causes combined (i.e., all-cause mortality) and breast cancer-specific mortality.
In addition we categorized the causes given for seeking dispensations into a number of relevant categories.
