If it is the case that these recommendations become obsolete, please update this portion of the Handbook.
In these cases, the recommendations suggest the need to involve various agents, such as the guidance and psychology departments (Taş, Bora, Selvitopu, and Demirkaya, 2013), centers' management and teaching staff (Tien, 1978; Cadena, 2013), families (Wade, 1974; Aguirre, 1991), and even the community in which the center is located (Azzarano, 1981).
However, in these cases, the recommendations ran counter to the medical literature.
In 59 of 96 cases (61%) these recommendations were congruent with the paediatric telephone protocol.
