If this were not the case an interference of the metal with the signal transduction pathways involved in the regulation of sulfate uptake should be postulated, as suggested in the recent paper of Shahbaz and co-workers [ 51], in which they extensively discuss the effect of copper accumulation on sulfur metabolism-related gene expression.
It will be seen that much more relaxed filtering would be sufficient in the case of an interference-free radio environment and ideal analog front-end.
In addition, this also provides a worst case scenario from an interference point of view.
For the tone signal interference in Case A, as is mostly considered when evaluate the performance of the optimal shaped pulses, the narrowband interference to UWB system is relatively limited, which can obviously be seen from Figure 6.
In this case, a reduced interference TFD is more appropriate to use [19, 20].
Since we made an assumption that each narrowband system has a plat PSD, we mainly consider two types of interference: In Case A, P 0 (f) and P 0 * f) in (13) are constants, thus further mathematic treatment of (13) may lead to E int = ∑ i P NB i P 0 2 f NB i (14).
The simulations are conducted for 3GPP Macro Case 1 and Case 3 deployment scenarios, of which the configurations are detailed in Table 3. Case 1 is an interference-limited scenario while Case 3 is an extremely noise-limited scenario in which the intersite distance is over 3 times that of Case 1.
Each case is repeated with an interference transmission power of [0,10,14,20] dBm where we measure the average achievable throughput in a 10-s interval with interference TxRates of [2, 11, 18, 24, 36, 48, 54] and interference COD values starting from 0%to100%0% in steps of 6.25%.
In practice, however, multiple interferences with different average power can exist as shown in Fig. 2. Considering that case into account, we proposed an interference suppression scheme that can be applied to the both cases where the interference power is equal or different [17].
In severe cases, an accident caused by interference or attack may generate irreversible economic loss or create a significant threat to individual safety.
