The objective of this chapter is to make a case for simulation-guided clinical trial design.
An exemplary measurement of the skin friction velocity distribution around a single wall-mounted rectangular block is presented, discussed and compared to literature and can serve as a test case for simulations.
When dealing with the representation of a nonlinear load through admittances, whose magnitude and angle depend on the harmonic content of the supply voltage, the tensor based procedures are accurate enough when the load admittance loci yields to a circle, which is usually the case for simulations.
Again, with a high number of PCs in the model, the power spectral density of the baseline activity became nearly identical to that of the DCN cell recording, which was not the case for simulations with a low number of PCs (Fig. 3C).
It is important to note that in this simulation set up, a higher number of segregants (n) does not increase the noise level (as is the case for simulations that rely on an explicit phenotypic model [ 7]).

Finally, the methodology of the optimization of the three systems, which were taken as case studies for simulation in Chapter 6, has been presented in detail.
There are 12 damage locations and 12 damage intensities at each location, giving a total of 144 cases for simulations, and data (displacement of the 91 points at first mode shape) obtained from each case is used in SVM.
This form arises when there are nearly neutral diffusive dynamics, as shown by the inset in Supporting Information, Figure S2, and when the common ancestor distribution is very narrow, as shown in Figure 2, in both cases for simulations at large scaled population sizes.
Fourthly, as is the case for most simulation studies, the evaluation results using simulated clinical trials suffer from some bias.
