As is the case for patient satisfaction surveys more generally, reports of general satisfaction have limited value in quality improvement processes [ 14, 15].
This was the case for both satisfaction with salary and intention to remain, each with two items comprising their scales.
Whereas the competencies (i.e., numeracy and literacy) were much more potent than non-cognitive skills (i.e., personality) in predicting educational attainment, for example, the opposite was the case for life satisfaction and, to a lesser extent, for self-perceived health.
Table 7 reveals that this was indeed the case for the satisfaction scores on EFF, CofU and EofU.
Both with respect to BDI, social support and health, improvements increased in step with the increasing number of times that the persons participated in the group meetings, whereas this was not the case for life satisfaction.

The absence of social housing, the high ratio of owner-occupation and the availability of good quality private rental stock in Turkey makes it a unique case for studies of residential satisfaction.
