Now Google has baked a new feature into Android Kitkat that aims to simplify the use of NFC applications for payments called "Host Card Emulation", which facilitates the connection between the applications and the NFC hardware within the Android device.

Now, let's add another element to this mix: Host Card Emulation.
Currently, companies, such as Android, have implemented something called host card emulation (HCE).
This is, of course, assuming that the device in question offers "card emulation" mode, which lets the NFC device behave like an existing contactless card.
Going forward, Moven is looking into launching Host Card Emulation (HCE) so it can do away with the need for plastic in future versions.
