A significant difference in gender was also found: men composed 76%% of the company car sample population, compared to 60%% of all driving license holders in Israel in 2008 and 45%% of the control group sample population.
Additional travel behavior characteristics of the company car sample population indicate that 92%% of the study population uses passenger cars as their trip mode for commuting, compared to 57%% of the general population [28] and 75%% of the control group population.
As can be seen from Fig. S4, the extent of the blue shift for the car samples was between that of the OSC and 37°C samples.
When this signature was applied to classify the validation samples, we found that the three carcinoid (CAR) samples, which were not involved in deriving the signature, and one LCC sample were separated from the other tumors by clustering with the 518 probe sets, thus representing a unique group (Fig. 3B).
In all CAR samples, Dinozoa contributed to the largest proportion of alveolate OTUs, followed by Ciliophora.
The deep-sea sample from the Cariaco interface (CAR1) was the most distinct of all CAR samples regarding protistan community membership with higher affinity to the other CAR samples rather than to the FV samples.
Here, M-form populations were subdivided into two genetic clusters (Fig. 2, K = 3): cluster 1 contained mainly individuals from the samples collected in west Africa (samples 1 9) and also from Bayanga, CAR (sample 12); cluster 2 included the remaining samples from central Africa (samples 10, 11, 13, and 14) and Angola (samples 21 23).
Even when calling OTUs at five nucleotide differences, the proportion of rare OTUs (represented by less than 10 tags) ranges between 71% and 81% in FV samples and between 78% and 83% in CAR samples (data not shown), indicating that the high number of rare taxa is not an artifact based on high intra-species heterogeneity in the V9 region.
MOST years, choosing the single best drive from the cars sampled in the previous 12 months would require at least a moment's consideration.
But before we all rush to our Ford dealers and hand over £15,390 for a Zetec we need to remember that most of these new models aren't cheaper in cash terms than the previous ones, and indeed CAP, the car price "bible" publisher, says that on a 40-car sample they found the average list-price reduction over the past year has been just £45.
