To activate the closed captions, click the CC icon in the upper right corner of the embedded videos or bottom right corner of the downloaded QuickTime vidoes; click the CC icon again to turn off the captions.

(To view captions click 'show captions'.) Clicking on an image will open a box showing the image, caption and a table of curator-entered annotations.
Click the one you want, choose which of your boards should collect this image, type a caption, and click Pin It. (Tip: If you highlight some text on a Web page before clicking Pin It, the selected text becomes the caption for your pinboard item).
To write a caption, double click on the words below and delete them, then write your caption.
You can make a caption by clicking your name or username on the top or click Personalize to customize Skype.
To toggle viewing the captioned text, click the CC button located in the lower right corner of the video player.
