Cape Horn Creek – treated in a low gradient, open canopy stream reach with high channel connectivity to the adjacent floodplain – exhibited a stronger response in periphyton biomass relative to Elk Creek – treated in a relatively higher gradient, more confined reach with increased riparian shading.
