Using demographic, epidemiological, and cancer data from Brazil, we developed a dynamic transmission model of HPV infection between males and females.
We used the special information coming from twin data, particularly breast cancer data, from the Swedish Twin Register.
Thyroid cancer data from 1983-2009 were obtained from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results data base.
For this report, researchers analyzed lung cancer data from the CDC's National Program of Cancer Registries and the National Cancer Institute′s Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program.

The final modeling incorporated all stage I cancer data from rounds one and two, including the duplicates – a total of 91 stage I data sets, representing 61 unique samples and an identical number of controls, matched as before, and balanced in the same round one to round two ratio (Figure 1).
