Algerian C. sempervirens had a yield at least three times inferior than the Cameroonian (1%) (v/w) [ 8].
Refugees had the following ethnicities: 74 Turks (71 Kurds), 6 Albanians, 3 Algerians, 3 Romanies, 1 Amharic (Ethiopian), 1 Bosnian, 1 Cameroonian, 1 Georgian, 1 Iranian, 1 Liberian, 1 Serb, 1 Sierra Leonian, and 1 Tamil, and 2 Germans who had fled from prisons of the former German Democratic Republic.
The final sample resulted in 32.5% refugees (95% CI 23.3 - 41.7) and 67.5% Cameroonians (95% CI 58.3 - 76.7), which closely matched the population distribution based on census data from the local government and the UNHCR registration rolls (31% refugee, 69% host population).
Of the 19 ethnic groups compared (which included 9 Cameroonian and 1 Nigerian group), only 7 possessed a 5-microsatellite version of the potential Bantu signature haplotype.

Minor allele frequencies of the SNP at 372 in TAS1R1 vary among eight populations; 10% in Cameroonian, 0% in Amerindian (native Americans), 25% in North European, 35% in Japanese, 5% in Russian, 35% in Hungarian, 40% in Chinese and 6% in Pakistani, whereas those at 757 in TAS1R3 showed no obvious difference among populations.
Though confidence intervals overlap, Cameroonian households had a higher average daily income (refugee 842.38 CFA, 95% CI 593.58 – 1091.18 vs Cameroonian 1172.53 CFA, 95% CI 1001.66 – 1001.66).
A high proportion of both refugees and host population lived in more permanent mud brick structures (refugees 95.3%, 95% CI 90.6 – 100.0 vs. Cameroonian 98.0%, 95% CI 96.5 – 99.5, Table 4).
Since none of the patients with W135 meningococci had direct contact with Hajj pilgrims and Cameroonian W135 strains are slightly different by PFGE from the W135 clone isolated in Europe and the United States in 2000, these strains from Cameroon seem to predate the 2000 Hajj-associated outbreak.
Certain Cameroonian clusters (C7, C8, C9, and C10) (7 ) were only detected in the Adamaoua region, not in northern Cameroon or our Chadian study.
Low levels of physical activity have been linked to increased risk of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases in adult Cameroonian [ 27, 32], and to increased risk of gestational diabetes mellitus as well as preeclampsia in high-income countries [ 33- 35].
