Mr. Brown's course is an indie version of "Bill Nye the Science Guy" — filmed in Italy, the Netherlands and England, with opening credits for "director of photography" and "second camera and editor".
His regional TV years gave him valuable television "flying time, honing his talent in front of the camera", the editor says.
It's hard not to wish the camera or editor had stayed in the company of some of them longer, but it was not always possible.

So we had live musicians in the room, the art director in the room, obviously the camera, the editor and so forth in order to try and develop all the film elements simultaneously".
This is a costly endeavour (equipment, camera operators, editors, web technicians...) but what has resulted feels very much like a "Let's Make a Musical" reality TV show, and has created a loyal fan base who will probably see the show more than once.
A core staff of 20 will make this happen at Made in Leeds: journalists, producers, camera operators, editors, technicians, and a sales team – all working from our studios at the Leeds Media & Broadcasting Centre at Savile Mount just off Chapeltown Road on the edge of the city centre.
Directors plan camera angles, editors draft scripts, translators ensure that the second language conveys the precise nuance, post-production work turns the filming into slick, shocking mini-documentaries, and finally IT professionals ensure that the videos are disseminated without giving away an upload point.
