The goal of the proposed CEF is to support multiple different problem solving environments and to execute long running CPU-intensive calculations in parallel in a cloud infrastructure.
As in the case of BDM, we carry out the following three calculations in parallel: (B) a boundary-based method for a homogeneous full space, (D1) a domain-based method for the target model that we want to simulate, and (D2) a domain-based method for a weak heterogeneity model represented by a layered structure, as shown in Fig. 1.
