Another approach to calculation of thermochemical data that has been proposed is scaling the calculated correlation energy using multiplicative parameters determined by fitting to experimental data.
The calculated correlation matrix of nine physicochemical descriptors is shown in Table 3 for KBD compounds.
All the calculated correlation coefficients are presented in Additional file 1, Table A1.
The calculated correlation value gives a score for a possible hit.

In order to investigate this effect, we also performed several runs of our algorithm with varying voxel resolutions and calculated correlation coefficients for each run.
However, the calculated correlation coefficients from Freundlich plots were 0.98, 0.99 and 0.96 for A. caespitosus, A. sp. RBSS-303 and A. flavus HF5 respectively (Fig. 5b).
