This contribution presents systematic biases in the process of generating health data by using a step-by-step explanation of the DISEASE FILTER, a heuristic instrument that we designed in order to better understand and evaluate health data.
The process can be effected by using a stepped punch, rather than using two punches (which need to be controlled independently), if the compressibility of the pressurising material can be compensated for sufficiently.
This result is obviously different from the blue shift reported by Zong et al. In order to clarify the difference, a new procedure to electrochemically fill ordered porous anodic alumina (OPAA) was developed where porous alumina remained on the aluminum substrate and the barrier layer was very thin by using a step-by-step voltage decrement process[43].
