To strengthen data interpretation, these hypotheses were analysed by four different clusters of people with the aid of the analysis of variance (ANOVA) and principal component analysis (PCA) tests: weak ties, socially linked, roots and resources, and dedicated to the place, based on social and emotional terms.
To assess the quality of RAMI's clustering approach, we compared assemblies of clusters produced by three different clustering algorithms, RAMI, DOTUR (Schloss and Handelsman, 2005) and BLASTclust using 269 full-length γ-proteobacterial 16S rRNA sequences from the manually curated Greengenes database core set (DeSantis et al., 2006).
