The calf should already be eating hay and/or grain and/or grass by the time the weaning process has started.
This is often done by the mother or relatives of a baby to produce baby food capable of being consumed by the child during the weaning process.
BIPAP can be used during the entire period of artificial ventilation, including the weaning process, by prolonging the periods of low pressure level [ 5, 10, 11].
