We have previously shown that ERK activation is crucial for TRK oncogenic activity: abrogation of signalling through SHC adapter, affecting MAPK activation, impairs TRK-T3 transforming activity [5] and inhibition of MEK by UO126 treatment lead to morphological reversion of NF861 and NF797.
