The geo-map on ischemic stroke incidence was produced by computing the smoothed standardized incidence ratios (SIRs) for each parish, using the free software Rapid Inquiry Facility, which provides an extension to ESRI® ArcGIS functions [ 18, 19].
As a result, only simply computing the incidence of adjacent refractures by dividing the sum number of new OVCFs cannot reflect the condition practically.
