Sentence The word "butthead" is considered slang and should usually not be used in written English.
If you do choose to use it, it is generally meant to be used as an insult to describe a person who is not thinking clearly or is otherwise being annoying. For example: "Stop being such a butthead and listen to what I'm telling you!".
