Male gonadosomatic index and average daily egg production by females showed significant, but weak, negative correlation with male plasma vitellogenin concentrations.
The change in the psychological appearance subdomain of AcroQoL scores demonstrated a significant but weak negative correlation with change in IGF-I levels (r=−0.282, p=0.039).
Using 363 mouse rat orthologs, there was a significant, but weak, negative correlation between protein lengths and evolutionary rates (Zhang 2000).

The same pattern was repeated among the monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs, Figure 2B), with positive correlations to lifespan for C16:1∆9 and C18 1∆11, but weaker negative correlations for C20 1 and C22 1 (Tables 2 and S3a).
However, significant (p<0.05), but relatively weak, negative correlations between HßD2 were observed with IL-8, IL-1ß, GM-CSF, IP-10, MIG, G-CSF and MPO (Pearson coefficients ranging from −0.24 to −0.34).
