Thus SK&F 96365 (unlike the 'organic Ca2+ antagonists') shows no selectivity between voltage-gated Ca2+ entry and RMCE, although the lack of effect on ATP-gated channels indicates that it discriminates between different types of RMCE.
Although this strategy delivered the desired vinyl iodide 89, no selectivity between the E- and Z-isomers was observed (1 1).
Finally, the remaining ten compounds (F4, F5, F6, F7, F8, H3, H4, H7, H8 and N1) induced apoptosis with little or no selectivity between tumor and normal cells.
There was no selectivity between the amastigote and Vero cells with DDD85646 [EC50 values of ≥8.7±0.8 μM and 6.7±1 μM (n=4) respectively].
