We enrolled patients with a peak duodenal bulb eosinophil density > 20 cells/hpf as we were able to demonstrate superiority to placebo in patients with 20 29 cells/hpf in the previous trial where a positive response was seen in 84% of patients (vs. 42% with placebo).
