The performance of the developed computational models, implemented in two computer programs, is illustrated by using some numerical comparative applications for two building construction types.
The building typologies in Maqsood et al. (2013) were matched to the relevant New Zealand building stock types, and then were assigned one of the RiskScape building construction types (Table 4).

The TUIK record, numbering 724,623, included information on the construction year, number of floors, and building construction type.

To characterize the buildings by construction type and construction epoch, geolocated data from the Portuguese 2011 census were acquired from the Instituto Nacional de Estatística (INE 2011).
As an answer, all the buildings with construction type Masonry will be highlighted in the 3D viewer and a count of occurrences will be shown (Fig. 3).
However, current curtain wall systems are usually built via conventional fenestration products resulting to significantly greater heating and cooling demand in buildings compared to other construction types.
