British Swimming's disappointing performance at the Olympics resulted in a £4m budget decrease and the closure of an intensive training centre at Swansea.
The union's is calling for increases in the $23.5 billion federal education budget, a decrease in the number of students in each classroom and a national minimum wage of $40,000 a year for teachers.
