The phrase "broad amplification" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used in contexts where you are discussing the extensive increase or enhancement of something, such as sound, signals, or ideas.
Example: "The new technology allows for broad amplification of audio signals, ensuring that every corner of the room can hear clearly."
Alternatives: "wide enhancement" or "extensive amplification."
The broad amplification of analog hearing aids serves little purpose for patients who have trouble hearing high-frequency sounds, although many of them may be helped by digital hearing aids that amplify only the high-frequency sounds.
