Apparently the reinitiation products lead to bright fusions in the context of the original C-terminal GFP folding reporter (Fig. 5A, column B, row 1, and Fig. 5D, column 1).

Note, however, that contrary to PET, where hot areas indicate accumulation of tracer and therefore generally diseased tissue, in the displayed fusion images the brighter color codes the stronger scattering, i.e. the more intact or healthier lung tissue.
