In a detailed section of the questionnaire, women were asked to report their height and weight at 1 year before cancer diagnosis or interview (for controls; referred to, for brevity, as measures at diagnosis), weight at age 30 and 50 years, lifelong highest and lowest weight, and perceived body size at age 12 years (i.e., thinner than, same as, heavier than peers).
