This ID consists of a three-letter breed code, followed by a three-letter country code, followed by a single letter to indicate the sex of the animal (M or F), and lastly a 12-character animal identifier.
Breed Code is the 3-letter code for each breed, data code no is the numerical code for each breed in the analysis, and FST group code is the grouping used for the analysis of positive selection.
"Second best" is if, using predefined categories (e.g. breed codes), the merge may be performed using several identifiers.
Breed codes are DU for Duroc, LR for Landrace, LWF for Large White dam line, LWM for Large White sire line, and PI for Piétrain Eight probes were detected as differentially expressed between Landrace and every other breed.
