This may have resulted from the difficulty of long-term follow-up in patients undergoing malignant pelvic tumor surgery due to the rarity of the surgery, the high incidence of postoperative complications resulting in amputation or reconstruction breakage or removal, or relatively early death from exacerbation of the disease.
