In this work, two novel bipolar host materials p-BPPI and m-BPPI containing phenanthroimidazole/dimesitylborane (Mes2B) with para- and meta-linkage have been designed, synthesized and characterized.
Moreover, our phylogenetic trees strongly suggest that myosins V and Vp originated in the last common ancestor of opisthokonts (BS = 73%, BPP = 1.0) (supplementary fig. S3, Supplementary Material online).
All SID containing KLF sequences form a clade with low support (BPP = 0.75) (supplementary figs. S2 and S3, Supplementary Material online).
BPP asks everyone, even those who believe they have covered similar material at a previous university, to complete the core requirements.

To test whether a functional protein can be produced from BPP-1 MCP by permuting it to the HK97 topology without introducing other changes, we genetically interchanged the primary order of the β- and α-elements in the BPP-1 MCP gene bbp17, and made two slightly different constructs (i.e., PM1 and PM2, 'Materials and methods').
