Hypersensitive DNase, H3K4me2, H3K4me3, H3K9ac and H3K27ac, which are related to transcriptional activation, bind to > =80% H2H pairs; while H3K27me3 and H3K9me3, which are associated with gene silencing [ 26 ], are only bound to a small fraction of H2H gene pairs.
We performed a genome wide analysis to identify c-Myb target genes and although we demonstrated that c-Myb is bound to a substantial fraction of the genes, our numbers are consistent with other similar studies.
