Chakraborty and Pradhan (2012) experimented enzymatic performance of five different wheat varieties in response to 3, 6 and 9 days of drought stress applied by withholding watering in pots.
Subsequently, the expression of eight of the annotated differentially expressed genes (DEGs) was characterized in the two varieties in response to a variety of abiotic stresses.
Among annotated genes, eight DEGs (Table 4) associated with stress response, were selected to examine their expression in the two celery varieties in response to a variety of abiotic stresses (cold, heat, drought and salt).
