In both tasks the first tone (600 ms duration and 1000 Hz frequency) was the standard tone, while the second was one of six comparison tones (three longer/higher and three shorter/lower than the standard).
For both tasks, the first 6 volumes of each run were removed to allow for T1 equilibrium effects.
