The predicted deformation histories, evolutions of fibre/matrix damage patterns, and inter-lamina delamination are captured and compared between monolithic and hybrid elastomer/composite panels.
The number of human lamin A/C+ nuclei, human spectrin+ fibres, human spectrin+ fibres containing human lamin A/C+ nuclei and the number of human lamin A/C+ nuclei inside or outside basal lamina were counted using MetaMorph software and compared using either Student's t test or one-way ANOVA.
Quantitative analysis showed a significantly reduced number of BrdU-positive cells in regions with a disrupted basal lamina compared to cells beneath an intact basement membrane and compared to control cerebellum.
The thickness of tissue layers in human ventral tongue image (Fig. 4(d)) is very similar to that of the pig (Fig. 3(g)) and both show the same decrease in contrast between the epithelium and lamina propria compared to other oral tissue regions.

Five-year T1a survival is 88%90%% for lesions that invade the muscularis mucosae and limited by the lamina propria, compared with 47% 62% for T1b lesions that invade into the submucosa.
Recently, investigators have reported that in patients with severe refractory asthma, the number of fibrocytes was significantly increased in the lamina propria compared with normal controls, and was also increased in the peripheral blood [ 39].
By 3 months of age, all three mutant mouse models showed fewer MBP-positive fibers in the superficial laminae of S1BF compared with wild-type controls (Fig. 4B).
