Is there a way to get the laptop to boot up from the CD/DVD drive?
Once you have your burned CD in your disc drive, tell the computer to boot up from the CD.
Your computer should successfully boot up from the new drive.
If it doesn't boot up from the CD automatically, you will need to adjust the boot order in the BIOS.
As the computer boots up again, hold down the "c" key to force it to boot up from the Install disc.
Now the computer will restart and boot up from the USB flash drive.(Note: Different computers may have a different hotkey to press that will bring up that menu. For example on an Asus laptop holding F2 key will bring up the boot device menu.
