We used a moderate level of coarse graining to map syntenic blocks using the Cinteny algorithm (Sinha and Meller, 2007) (Table S1), which revealed human-chimp and human-mouse syntenic blocks covering 48%and45%5% of the human genome, respectively.
In contrast, blocking TNF using the human p55-IgG fusion protein in a murine B16-BL6 modeloma model reduced the number of metastatic lung tumours temporarily over 2 weeks but not after 3 weeks, possibly due to increased immune clearance of the fusion protein (Cubillos et al, 1997).
