Figure 6b indicates that uniform dispersion of nano-ZnO occurs throughout the entire blend in comparison to standard rubber grade-ZnO (Fig. 5a).
This specific interaction is the main reason for the improvement of the miscibility of this particular blend in comparison to PS/PVME.
Interestingly, the temperature dependant proportionality constant K∞ was found to be about 10 20% lower for the blend in comparison with the pure L-PP whereas the parameter n was found to be the same for both systems.
