Since the feffile is blank, the output weights file cannot be create so it is left at it default blank value.
This blank value from the vessel was 10% of that obtained with a commercial vessel, and almost similar to the detection limit of the inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometer used.
This blank value obtained is enough for the measurement of most environmental samples and comparable with other reported backgrounds obtained in facilities working at higher energies and higher charge states.
Measured Bi concentrations in the condensed liquid at 250 °C were in the same range as those at 220 °C, whereas those at 300 °C were significantly lower (i.e., all below the blank value).

Currently our measured blank value is 36Cl/Cl ≈ 3 × 10−15 when samples with a ratio of 10−11 are used in the same sample wheel and 36Cl/Cl ≈ 5 × 10−16 if measured together with samples with a ratio of 10−12 or below.
