The silicalite-based enzyme biosensor for urea determination in the blood serum reported in [10] showed good correlation with the results of the traditional method of urea measurement based on the diacetyl monoxime reaction (correlation coefficient 0.995).
It also confirms that the developed biosensor can be successfully used for the urea analysis in real biological samples.
It is shown that the developed biosensor can be successfully used for the urea analysis during renal dialysis.
To create the biosensor for urea determination in biological samples, it was necessary to address the described problems simultaneously.
