Technip has been awarded a front end engineering design (FEED) contract by Biomass Investment Group BIGG) for their closed loop biomass power plant project located in Florida which will use E-Grass (Arundo Donax or Giant Reed) as a farm grown energy crop.
This paper provides a perspective on the biomass direct chemical looping (BDCL) scheme which directly converts biomass into hydrogen and/or electricity with CO2 capture.
