Using chromatin immuno-precipitation(IP), we found that Lrp binds to the upstream regions of at least 45 out of the 52 differentially expressed genes, including several new predicted targets such as ompT, dppA, eco, pntA, pntB, csiE, sdaB sdaC, yhjE and ygdH, most of which were also verified using a qPCR experiment (Table 3).
