The O 1 s peaks of Figure 4a can be deconvoluted into three peaks corresponding to the low binding energy (LP), middle binding energy (MP), and high binding energy (HP) components centered at 530.30 ± 0.1, 531.41 ± 0.11, and 532.45 ± 0.05 eV, respectively.
In particular, peaks corresponding to a Kruppel binding site (kr7), a Bicoid binding site (bcd4), and a joint site (kr9/bcd5) are all more strongly identified as evolving slowly when ten species are analyzed.
Figure 1d shows the typical EDS spectrum of Zn0.97 Mg0.03S with the characteristic peaks corresponding to the binding energy state of Zn, S, and Mg only.
The O 1s spectrum (Fig. S2d, ESI †) is de-convoluted into two different peaks, corresponding to two different binding environments, arising from the C O (533.3 eV) and C O (532.0 eV) bonds.
The O 1s spectrum (Fig. 3d) is de-convoluted into two different peaks, corresponding to two different binding environments, arising from the C O (533.2 eV) and C O (532.0 eV) bonds.
The Zn 3p binding energy of the ZnO nanorods can be resolved into two peaks corresponding to Zn 3p 3/2 (90.1 eV), Zn 3p 1/2 (93.1 eV).
The GE showed peaks corresponding to five elements: C 1s, O 1s, Au 4f7, S 2p, and N 1s (binding energies of 284.0, 526.5, 83.8, 264.05, and 397.0 eV, respectively, see Figure 5a).
The EDS spectrum shows peaks corresponding to C, N, Cl, and Au elements (other peaks originated from the substrate).
A second PCA was completed using only peaks corresponding to the saponins.
Notice the peaks corresponding to the same nodes that can induce single-drug selectivity discussed above.
