After seeding with chondrocytes and culture in vitro for 8 weeks, the cell-LDTM constructs formed tubular cartilage with relatively homogenous cell distribution in both micropores and bilateral surfaces.

The magnetic resonance images were taken using a magnetic resonance tomograph (1.5 Tesla) (MAGNETOM Symphony; Siemens, Erlangen, Germany) in combination with bilateral TMJ surface coils (double ring array coil; Siemens, Erlangen, Germany) featuring SE (spin echo) sequences (T1-weighted, proton density- (PD-) weighted, or T2-weighted; 5 to 7 slices; 3 mm slice thickness).

From the Fig. 2, we can find that image processed by our bilateral filter creates smoothed surface and protects droplets at the same time.
Muscle activity was quantified by bilateral bipolar recording of surface electromyography (SEMG) (electrode diameter 6 mm, inter-electrode distance 20 mm).
